The Lake*A*Syst booklet is the culmination of a great deal of work and input by a knowledgeable and diverse group of individuals.  The initial Lake*A*Syst project for Priest Lake was completed by Glen Rothrock of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and Lance Holloway of the Idaho Association of Soil Conservation Districts who now works for the Idaho Department of Agriculture.

Also of great assistance were the Sandpoint office staff:  Jeff Stewart, District Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service; Linda O’Hare, District Administrator for the Bonner Soil and Water Conservation District; Jamie Davis, Water Quality Resource Conservationist for the Idaho Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts;  and Mike Duval, Soil Conservation Technician, NRCS.

Others providing technical assistance were: Ruth Watkins and Bob Hansen of the Lake Pend Oreille Nearshore TMDL Committee; Yvonne Pettit and Jenna Borovansky of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality; Herman Collins, Bonner Soil and Water Conservation District Board Chairman; Kim Erk and Kim Golden, NRCS; Kody VanDyk, Public Works Director, City of Sandpoint; Bill Love, Idaho Department of Lands; Brad Bluemer, Bonner County Weed Supervisor; Mary Terra-Burns, Idaho Department of Fish and Game; Bob Camp, Panhandle Health District;  Lisa Mroczek, Chairman of the Sandpoint Farmers Market; Kevin Davis, U.S.D.A Forest Service; and Bob Wilson, Bonner County Extension Office.

Special thanks to Marianne Love for her inspirational “Introduction to Lake*A*Syst”, to Debbie Ziesemer for sharing her beautiful photograph of Lake Pend Oreille with us for our front cover, to Carleen Clark for her Lake*A*Syst logo design and to Fairy Delay for allowing us to use a copy of her original oil painting of Lake Pend Oreille from Schweitzer mountain in the Selkirk range for our back cover.
